Textbook: The Drama of Scripture, Finding Our Place
in the Biblical Story by Goheen and Bartholomew
Synopsis:
We will focus on the Kingdom of God, a concept that is central in
the teachings of Jesus, as well as in the teachings of the Old
Testament prophets. What are we expecting when we pray The Lord's
Prayer and ask that this kingdom will come? An examination of the
covenant promises God has made to His people will help us to grasp
what is in store for us when we experience this kingdom in its full
and final glory. |
